As a nerd

I joined a data science paper reading group several months ago and am learning more about areas like recommender systems.
My background is in computer vision, so I am also getting more experience with recurrent neural networks and Transformer-based architectures.

As a father

I enjoy spending time with my family. My six-year old son is currently into:

Geography and flags
Minecraft

My daughter is into:

Spending time with her brother

Given that I have not posted much online for the last several years, I wanted to post some fun highlights.

I took an online Deep Learning Systems course taught at CMU. We built a PyTorch-like framework with its own tensor and autodifferentation systems. I completed 3 out of 5 assignments before life happened, so I hope to finish up in the near future.
